Sietske Brinksma was admitted to the Dutch Bar in September 2022 and has been working at Maverick Advocaten since December 2025. She has international experience in the field of competition and trade law and is specialised  in Dutch and European competition law and FDI regulation. She completed both the Professional Training Programme for Lawyers and the Law Firm School programme.

In 2020 and 2021, Sietske obtained her Master’s degrees in European Law and International Business Law from Tilburg University, graduating cum laude. In both programmes, she specialised in competition law, and her dissertations were awarded grades of 9 and 8.5 respectively. In 2020, she received a Certificate of Excellence in competition law from Tilburg University.
Sietske is a member of the Competition Law Association, W@competition and the Investment Review Association.
