Position

Partner focusing on mergers and acquisitions and restructurings of both listed and unlisted companies, in particular in the field of telecom infrastructure.

Jérôme du Chazaud has recently advised L'Oréal on its acquisition of Kering Beauté;  Groupe ADIT on its 5th LBO, marked by the entry of a pool of new investors (UI, Covea, MACSF, Florac, Impala, Stags, Weinberg CP and Isalt) alongside existing investors (Sagard, Parquest, Bpifrance and Amundi), as well as on the acquisition of a majority stake in Défense Conseil International (DCI) from the French State and Sofema; Bouygues Telecom on the sale to Phoenix Tower International of Infracos, a joint venture held by SFR and Bouygues Telecom, as well as on several joint ventures and partnerships (with Cellnex, Phoenix Tower International and Vauban Infrastructure Partners) aimed at financing the deployment of its mobile and fibre network; Bpifrance on its investment in Biogaran alongside BC Partners; French Tech Souveraineté on its acquisitions of stakes in EuroAPI, in the context of its IPO, and in Biose Industries; Eiffel Investment Group and Bpifrance on an hybrid financing for the benefit of Evergaz as well as on the acquisition of 3E Biogas; ADEME Investissement on its investment in Ecotitanium as well as in Arvenne Group, in the context of its IPO; Sopra Steria on its public tender offer for CS Group; Publicis on its joint venture with Carrefour in the retail media sector; Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations (CDC) on the creation of "New Suez" by a consortium composed of Meridiam, Global Infrastructure Partners and CDC; and the Agence des Participations de l'Etat on the recapitalisation of Air France-KLM.

Career

Jérôme du Chazaud began his career in the Global Banking and Market division of the Royal Bank of Scotland, in London, and the law firm Veil Jourde, before joining BDGS Associés in 2015 where he became partner in 2021.
