Stefano is an Of Counsel in Matouk Bassiouny’s UAE offices and a member of the Corporate and M&A practice group. Stefano brings over three decades of experience advising clients across the EMEA region on corporate, commercial, and M&A matters. Having worked extensively in Asia and the UAE since 2010, he offers a strong command of the local legal environment, complemented by a global outlook and cross-border execution capabilities.

Beyond his UAE expertise, Stefano has held senior leadership roles in Europe and Asia, where he helped establish and grow international legal practices in key markets including Italy, India, Hong Kong, and Shanghai.

Earlier in his career, he spent a decade with Ernst & Young and Andersen Legal in Europe. His cross-border capabilities and cultural fluency enable him to support clients confidently across a wide range of sectors and jurisdictions.
