Position

Paula is Head of the Employment Law team at Howes Percival, having started work with Howes Percival in 1997.

Paula has extensive experience on the full range of employment law matters, both contentious and non-contentious. She has developed particular expertise in relation to advising clients in relation to TUPE matters on outsourcing arrangements, corporate transactions and business restructuring, together with advice on complex redundancy and restructuring programmes. As well as acting on non-contentious matters, Paula regularly advises clients on dealing with Employment Tribunal matters, dealing with disciplinary and grievance issues and exiting senior managers and directors.

Paula has a can do attitude and provides commercial and practical advice focused on the client’s business objectives.

Paula enjoys getting to know the client and working as an extension of their in house team. She regularly provides employment law training and speaks at employment law seminars and events.

Paula acts for a range of clients, including those in the automotive, media, technology, manufacturing and retail sectors.
