Career

Olga Finkel is widely regarded, respected for her knowledge of gambling and technology law and for advising on some of the most innovative and significant corporate M&A and finance transactions in the industry. Olga provides advice on strategic, commercial and regulatory matters to businesses across a range of industries. Her specialisation, backed by extensive experience,  includes a particular focus on corporate transactions (M&A), complex cross-border debt and equity financing arrangements at all stages of the corporate lifecycle. She has deep experience advising on regulatory frameworks applicable to e-gambling, emerging technologies including artificial intelligence, digital platforms, privacy and data security, electronic communications networks and services, as well as intellectual property, technology transactions (procurement, outsourcing and transfer) and software licensing. Olga is also active in related areas, such as AML compliance.

Olga was admitted to the Bar in Malta in 2001 and is a member of the Malta Chamber of Advocates.  She is also a member of Society for Computers and Law (UK), of the International Technology Law Association (based in the US), Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists, as well as a long standing member of the International Masters of Gaming Law and of the International Association of Gaming Attorneys. 

Education

Olga holds a Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Malta as well as a Master of Science degree in IT and Economics from the Academy of Economics, Kharkov, Ukraine.
