Gülnur Çakmak Ergene works as an Associate in the Corporate and Litigation department at Erdem & Erdem’s İzmir Office. She is particularly active in the areas of Personal Data Protection Law, Labor and Social Security Law, Law of Obligations, Commercial Law and IT Law, advising domestic and foreign clients and representing them in litigation.

Çakmak Ergene also provides legal and administrative assistance in the compensation of damages arising from personal injuries, prepares legal opinions on Turkish legislation and local standards regarding liability law for cases abroad, or assists in the preparation of expert reports in areas such as health, engineering, and occupational safety.

In addition, as part of the data protection team, Çakmak Ergene is involved in compliance projects with applicable data protection legislation, in particular the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), for domestic and foreign clients.

Gülnur Çakmak Ergene graduated from the Faculty of Law of Istanbul University and received her Master’s degree in Law from the Ludwig Maximilan University of Munich.
