Acar provides international and domestic clients with assistance in various competition law matters especially in merger control filings where he has an extensive experience with complex multi-million deals for multi-national clients operating in various sectors including chemicals, manufacturing, automotive, steel, energy, pharmaceutical, aviation, technology and gambling industry. He regularly advises clients with respect to their contracts related including but not limited to franchise, distributorship, and manufacturing. He also regularly advises companies on compliance with competition law in their day-to-day operations.

Acar is graduated from Yeditepe University Law School and also holds a BEc degree from Anadolu University. He also spent a year at University of Vienna for his postgraduate studies on European and International Business Law.
