Managing Associate

Duygu Oner Aycicek works as a Managing Associate in the Dispute Resolution Department of Erdem & Erdem.

She has extensive experience in disputes arising from international trade, maritime and land transportation, corporate law, labor law, and administrative law. Öner provides legal consultancy services to both domestic and international clients in a wide range of commercial and administrative disputes, oversees the conduct of proceedings, and represents clients before Turkish courts. Covering a broad spectrum from day-to-day legal matters to complex disputes at both national and international levels, she offers strategic advice at every stage of dispute and litigation processes, identifying risks and developing solution-oriented approaches. She actively represents clients before Turkish courts and also acts as counsel and Tribunal Secretary in arbitration proceedings before international and national arbitration institutions such as the ICC, ISTAC and ITOTAM.

In addition, she manages execution proceedings within the scope of execution and bankruptcy law, represents clients in concordat and bankruptcy proceedings, and acts as counsel in mediation processes. She also has significant experience in the recognition and enforcement of foreign court and arbitral awards in Turkey, as well as in annulment proceedings of arbitral awards.

Duygu Öner graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Law, and during her undergraduate studies, she attended law courses at Leiden University in the Netherlands.
