Violeta Saranciuc is a partner in the firm’s arbitration practice group. Violeta has participated as pleading and lead counsel in some of the most important international arbitrations involving Romanian parties, organized under the rules of ICC, ICSID, VIAC, LCIA, UNCITRAL and CCIR, and regularly represents foreign clients in arbitrations in different jurisdictions. In court, Violeta provides legal representation in arbitration-related court proceedings, in competition disputes, general administrative contentious and commercial litigation, especially in the construction and energy field.

She is ambassador of the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC) in Romania and Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London. Violeta also sits on the Executive Committee of the Rising Arbitrators Initiative (RAI).

She co-founded YRAP – Young Romanian Arbitration Practitioners, the first initiative dedicated  to the community of Romanian international arbitration practitioners in Romania and abroad under the age of 40.
