Trainee Solicitor

Leah is a Trainee Solicitor in the Care and Capacity team at Wollens, based in our South Devon office.

She started as a Legal Assistant within the Care and Capacity team of the Private Client Department, quickly progressing to the role of Paralegal, and most recently starting her training to become a Solicitor.

As a Trainee Solicitor Leah's work focuses on supporting the specialist lawyers in the Care and Capacity team and helping individuals and families navigate their way through sensitive and complex capacity issues. Capacity work is extremely rewarding and allows her to build strong relationships with clients. She also assists in setting up Lasting Powers of Attorney, an essential legal document in helping client’s plan for the future and ensure that their wishes and feelings are clearly expressed.

Leah joined Wollens in May 2025 after completing her LLB in Scots and English law at Strathclyde University.

Outside of work, Leah enjoys catching up with friends and family, long walks with her dog and searching for the best matcha in Torquay!
