Alicia has worked within the childcare team at Wollens since 2020. Initially she worked with David Kendall and gained a huge amount of experience in relation to care proceedings generally.  This included work around PLO pre-proceedings meetings and full court proceedings. These proceedings could relate to any concern of significant harm about a child, such as neglect, alcohol and drunk misuse or domestic violence.

In early 2024 she started working with Rachel Carter and Victoria Harle, still within our care team, specialising in non-accidental injury work. These are complex cases involving allegations of physical abuse, such as fractures, bruising and shaken baby syndrome, assisting parents all over the country. The department has a wealth of expertise in this area.

Having qualified as a solicitor in March 2026, Alicia represents parents in all types of child protection and care proceedings cases.

Outside of work Alicia is a keen karate athlete holding a 3rd Dan black belt. She has been training since she was 10 years old and has competed both nationally and internationally.
