Career

Abigail is a Solicitor in the Private Family Team at Wollens, based in the firm's North Devon office.

She advises clients on a wide range of private family law matters, including divorce and civil partnership dissolution, financial arrangements arising from relationship breakdown (including negotiated settlements, Consent Orders and Financial Remedy proceedings), private children matters, domestic abuse issues, and disputes involving unmarried couples and cohabitees, including claims under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 (TOLATA).

Abigail joined Wollens in October 2022 as a Trainee Solicitor after completing her legal studies. During her training contract, she gained experience across the Private Client, Family, and Company & Commercial departments, providing her with a broad foundation across a range of legal disciplines. She returned to the Family Team in March 2024 for her final training seat and qualified as a Solicitor in October 2024.

Abigail advises and supports clients across Devon and beyond, helping them navigate what are often complex and emotionally challenging family law matters. Her approach is focused on providing clear, pragmatic advice tailored to each client's individual circumstances and achieving constructive, fair and sensible outcomes.

Education

Prior to joining Wollens, Abigail graduated from Cardiff University in 2021 with a First Class Honours Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree. She then remained at Cardiff University to complete the Legal Practice Course, graduating with Distinction in 2022.

Personal

Having grown up in North Devon, Abigail wanted  to return to the area and establish her career here.
