Partner in the Commercial Department.

Hayley spent over 10 years at a national firm before joining Wollens in 2017 as an associate in our Company and Commercial team and becoming a Partner in 2021.

Hayley has a diverse commercial practice, reflecting her projects background and expertise.  She has a focus on funding work, leading our Banking and Finance team, including being highly skilled in standalone finance transactions or as part of wider commercial transactions including acquisitions, and being able to expertly assist on the related corporate and property elements. 

She has a niche specialism in public sector funding arrangements with significant experience acting on largescale public sector projects and transactions, and she is a specialist in public sector funding, procurement and contractual arrangements. 

As part of her work, she acts on the corporate, funding and related property arrangements for a wide range of corporate and commercial clients, including their lenders, investors, public bodies and the not-for-profit sector, given her robust experience and skillset in delivering transactions and projects.  She is highly skilled and experienced in supporting clients on the more complex and novel arrangements, including bespoke requirements and structuring.

She has a reputation for being commercially astute, pragmatic and driven in her approach to delivering transactions and being successful at achieving results, particularly on transactions with challenging circumstances.  Consequently, she benefits from many repeated instructions and referrals and she has built solid working relationships with both clients, lenders and funders and referrers.
