Alexander Garrett is an Executive Senior Associate in the Holmes & Hills Family Law Department.

Alexander is a highly experienced divorce solicitor, he deals with high value, complex financial matters, often in the £millions, involving various types of assets. Alex’s prides himself on being an expert in the preparation of relationship planning documents such as Declarations of Trust and Pre/Post Nuptial Agreements.

Alexander is a member of Resolution, and where possible, advocates friendly and constructive proceedings. Alex is also able to show considerable patience where the other party is difficult to deal with, while still being able to represent his client effectively.

Alexander joined Holmes & Hills Solicitors in 2021 and in May 2023; Alexander was promoted to Associate. In May 2024 Alexander was promoted to Senior Associate and in May 2025 he was promoted to Executive Senior Associate.

He has been chosen to head up the family law offering in a new office for Holmes & Hills which opened in Witham in 2023, in addition to being part of the team running the administration of the office.
