Yana Todorova leads the firm’s Artificial Intelligence practice. She specialises in the intersection of intellectual property and technology, advising on cutting-edge legal developments in the digital space.

Yana has deep expertise in EU digital regulation, particularly the Digital Services Act (DSA), Digital Markets Act (DMA), and other legislation shaping platform governance and intellectual property. She helps clients navigate the evolving legal landscape to remain compliant and competitive.

Her practice also focuses on developing tailored trademark strategies for clients, managing the full lifecycle of brand protection—from registration and enforcement to risk assessment and portfolio optimisation. Yana regularly advises clients on protecting their IP assets locally and internationally while anticipating market and regulatory challenges.

With a Master’s degree in Intellectual Property Law from Panthéon-Sorbonne University Paris 1, Yana combines strong international credentials with in-depth knowledge of Bulgarian law. She is qualified to practice before the Bulgarian Patent Office and EUIPO.

Yana’s broad expertise spans structuring sponsorship, advertising, and broadcast agreements, advising on software licensing, and representing clients in content-related litigation, especially in media and entertainment.

Prior to joining Kambourov & Partners, Yana interned at the International Arbitration & Litigation department of Herbert Smith Freehills Paris LLP and at the Secretariat of the ICC International Court of Arbitration. Yana was a member of the Panthéon-Sorbonne University Paris 1 team participating in the Willem C.
