Atanas Shopov leads the Real Estate & Construction practice at Kambourov & Partners, bringing over 15 years of experience advising on major real estate and infrastructure developments in Bulgaria. He acts for project companies, investors, international retailers, hotel chains, energy providers, and developers of large-scale commercial and industrial assets.

Atanas advises across the full project lifecycle, with expertise in land use and zoning, construction law, environmental regulation, transaction structuring, and FIDIC-based contracting. He is skilled in conducting complex legal due diligence and negotiating strategic joint ventures and acquisitions. His portfolio includes high-impact mandates that have shaped Bulgaria’s retail, industrial, and urban infrastructure landscape.
