Career

Thomas Vaseux practices mainly in public business law. In particular, he deals with issues relating to public procurement, public property, urban planning, and more broadly any public law issues, especially in regulated sectors (health, transportation, etc.). He acts both in an advisory and litigation capacity and has developed, within De Gaulle Fleurance, which he joined in 2017, a recognized litigation practice in public business law. He was a lecturer in public services and public enterprise law as well as in contract and public procurement law at the University of Panthéon-Sorbonne for many years (from 2013 to 2018) and since 2022 has been giving a seminar on “The law on the intervention of public authorities in sport” as part of the Master 2 in Sports Law at the University of Lille. He regularly publishes articles on his areas of expertise in various recognized scientific journals (Le Moniteur, la Semaine Juridique, l’Actualité juridique des Collectivités Territoriales, Contrats et Marchés publics, etc.).
