Career

Francine Le Péchon-Joubert has extensive experience in all matters related to intellectual property law. She is passionate about topics concerning industrial property law (patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and domain names). Her work in these areas is divided between advising companies on acquiring and enhancing these assets and a significant litigation practice (infringement, unfair competition, nullity before courts or offices, claims for ownership or contractual breaches…). Thus, she is involved in various exploitation contracts for these assets: R&D agreements, licenses, partnerships and JVs, coexistence and co-ownership agreements, distribution agreements, contracts with inventors… The more complex the issues, the more they interest her! She also has over twenty years of experience in managing trademark portfolios on a global scale to optimize portfolios in various sectors such as medical devices, real estate, tourism, leisure, alcohol, or other consumer goods. Our company files trademarks for its clients but also defends them internationally. This activity leads Francine Le Péchon-Joubert to examine regulatory issues related to the promotion of the products and services of advised companies. Furthermore, Francine Le Péchon-Joubert regularly pleads before French courts (Judicial Court, commercial courts, and Court of Appeal) and can also intervene before the Unified Patent Court (UPC). Finally, Francine Le Péchon-Joubert is involved in transnational cases with the support of foreign colleagues. A useful detail: all these tasks are accomplished with the support of more than 10 associates whom Francine Le Péchon-Joubert supervises
