Career

Julien Horn’s practice encompasses all aspects of intellectual property, information technology law and commercial law. He represents the firm’s clients in litigation relating to patents, trade marks, designs, copyright and related rights, as well as in litigation in the fields of information technology, the internet, cinema and audiovisual. He has also developed a specific expertise in commercial law litigation such as unfair competition, passing off, unfair commercial practices, or termination of long-standing business relationships. Julien has gained considerable exertise in alternative dispute resolution mechanismes such as mediation and judicial conciliation and has successfully assisted many clients in settlement negotiations. He also assists the firm’s clients with advice, contractual negotiations and the sale or acquisition of companies with portfolios of intellectual property rights or technological assets. He advises the firm’s clients on their strategy for building up, managing and defending their portfolios of intellectual property rights on a global basis. He teaches intellectual property litigation to LLM students at the Université Paris-XI Faculty of Law Paris Saclay.
