Career

Rosie qualified as a solicitor in England and Wales in 2014. She is also a qualified Lithuanian lawyer and gained her masters in law degree at Vilnius University, Lithuania. Further to her postgraduate studies at St. Petersburg State University, she has obtained LLM in international Trade and Commercial law from the University of Durham, UK. Rosie has also successfully completed her LPC at the College of Law in London.

Personal

Rosie acts for several key shipowners and major charterers in Eastern Europe (Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and beyond). Rosie’s expertise ranges from handling highly complex charterparty disputes (including Bareboat charters), to MOA and superyacht disputes. Her extensive foreign language skills and particular knowledge of the business culture in the region make her particularly well placed to advise on legal issues and disputes in Eastern Europe. As a result of Russia/Ukraine conflict, over the past two years in particular Rosie has advised businesses trading predominantly in the Black Sea and Baltic Sea regions, whose long-standing trading relationships were affected either due to trade sanctions or other practical difficulties.
