Shantanu has a full-service funds practice covering fund structuring, fund formation (including public and private funds), client mandates, and fund investments. He advises asset managers, institutional investors, and investment funds on transactions across all asset classes, with a particular focus on private capital strategies.

Shantanu also advises asset managers on corporate matters such as establishment or restructurings, and on regulatory issues including ESG, sustainability, and digitisation.

Shantanu is recognised for his strong background in funds and asset management, as well as his work on ESG and sustainable investment. Regularly quoted in industry media, he frequently publishes on sustainability matters relevant to the asset management industry. He also serves on the ESG committees of several industry bodies including Invest Europe, AIMA, and AFME.
