Career

Karolina has over 20 years’ experience in the field of intellectual property and unfair competition. She is qualified as a professional representative before the EU Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and effectively represents clients in proceedings in Poland and the European Union.

She specialises in industrial property rights infringement cases, in particular trademarks, designs and patents and has conducted precedent-setting disputes for companies from the pharmaceutical sector.

She develops strategies for the protection of industrial property rights, prepares searches and filings before the offices, and manages portfolios of rights.

Karolina also develops agreements for the transfer of industrial property rights, technology transfers and coexistence of rights, as well as conducts audits and due diligence reports.

Her clients include companies from the pharmaceutical, FMCG, technology, media and luxury goods sectors.

She is the co-author of the commentary to the Industrial Property Law (Beck).
