Sara Castelo‑Branco is a Partner at Miranda & Associados with more than 15 years of experience, focusing on Public Law, Regulatory matters, and Energy. She advises clients across highly regulated sectors, providing strategic guidance on administrative law, licensing, regulatory compliance, and energy‑sector frameworks, in both Portugal and Lusophone African countries, namely in Angola.

She is the co‑author of several articles on natural gas and electricity regulation in Portugal, published in leading international guides such as the International Comparative Legal Guide to Gas Regulation and Getting the Deal Through. She has also co‑authored a book chapter on the evolution of energy law in Portugal.

With a solid combination of regulatory insight, sector‑focused experience, and multidisciplinary legal training, Sara is recognized for her ability to advise clients on complex public‑law and energy‑sector challenges across multiple Lusophone jurisdictions.
