Nuno Gouveia is a head of practice Partner and Member of the Executive Committee at Miranda & Associados with more than two decades of experience advising on Labor and Benefits Law. His practice covers the full range of employment matters, including workforce structuring, employee mobility and secondments, local content requirements, equality and non‑discrimination, workplace policies, and complex labor regulatory issues across Portugal and Lusophone Africa.

He is a frequent speaker at major international conferences, having presented in Angola, Mozambique, South Africa, China, and Nigeria on topics such as traineeship agreements, fixed‑term hiring, labor market development, pay equity, workplace discrimination, and human‑capital strategies for multinational businesses.

He also plays an international role as Co‑Head of the Business Development Committee for the Africa/Middle East Region of the Employment Law Alliance, contributing to cross‑border collaboration and thought leadership within the field of employment law.
