João Rosado Correia is a Partner at Miranda & Associados with more than 35 years of experience, focusing on Energy, Public Law, and Regulatory matters. Throughout his career, he has advised on complex regulatory frameworks, major energy-sector transactions, and public‑sector structures, earning a reputation as one of Portugal’s foremost legal specialists in highly regulated industries.

Before joining Miranda, João held senior leadership roles at several leading law firms, including heading the Public Law, Energy and Environmental Department of a major international firm. He was also a founding partner of two Portuguese firms, contributing to their growth and establishing strong practices in public, regulatory, and energy law.

João has been recognized as a leading individual in Energy & Natural Resources and has authored and edited multiple publications on gas regulation, public procurement, and regulatory frameworks. His written contributions span several editions of international legal guides and include a published compilation of municipal ordinances and regulations.
