Career
Sergey Nedelko has over 15 years of professional experience in maritime and transport law and is one of the leading practitioners in this field in Ukraine.
He advises Ukrainian and international companies, shipowners, P&I Clubs, crewing, stevedoring and freight forwarding companies, ports and terminals, marine agents, grain traders and manufacturing enterprises. He provides comprehensive legal support for maritime and transport operations and represents clients before national courts and international arbitration institutions, including the ICAC at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI), LMAA and GAFTA.
Sergey’s core areas of practice include maritime law, transport law, litigation and arbitration, the legal regulation of vessel calls and port operations, as well as the legal aspects of port infrastructure operation and development. His experience includes advising on leases of state-owned and private property in ports, leases of land plots within port infrastructure areas, as well as the construction and reconstruction of port infrastructure facilities.
Sergey Nedelko has substantial experience handling maritime claims, including vessel arrest and release proceedings in Ukrainian and European ports. He also represents clients in disputes with port authorities, state-owned enterprises and monopolies, customs authorities, environmental control authorities and other regulatory bodies, ensuring asset protection, regulatory compliance and mitigation of legal risks.
