With over 33 years of professional experience, including 31 years in antitrust and competition law in Ukraine, Oleksandr Fefelov is one of the most experienced practitioners in this area.

Oleksandr specializes in antitrust and competition law and represents Ukrainian and international companies in cases involving violations of antitrust legislation, abuse of dominant position, anti-competitive concerted practices, and unfair competition.

Oleksandr's practice includes merger control and concerted practice clearance, including the preparation and filing of notifications with the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU), coordination of AMCU approvals, and assessment of antitrust risks in the context of corporate and M&A transactions. His expertise enables clients to structure transactions in compliance with competition law requirements and to mitigate regulatory risks.

Oleksandr has extensive experience in handling complex antitrust disputes and defending clients in proceedings before the AMCU and courts of all instances, representing their interests in disputes with other market participants and state authorities.

Oleksandr Fefelov also advises clients on public procurement and state aid matters, assisting businesses in their interaction with public authorities and entities funded from state and local budgets, minimizing competition law risks and protecting their interests in disputes with regulators and other market participants.

In addition to his antitrust practice, Oleksandr has experience in corporate law, M&A, intellectual property, privatization, and foreign investment. This enables him to provide comprehensive support for large-scale business projects by integrating competition, regulatory, and corporate aspects of transaction structuring and the implementation of commercial strategies.
