Mikhail Ilyashev advises Ukrainian and international companies, investors and business owners on corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring, corporate risk management, regulatory compliance, shareholder rights, and general aspects of doing business in Ukraine.

His practice includes supporting large-scale corporate and M&A transactions, conducting comprehensive legal due diligence, structuring investment projects, establishment and restructuring of business structures, and organization of corporate governance systems.

Mikhail is regularly engaged as an independent expert on Ukrainian law in international arbitrations and foreign court proceedings, providing expert opinions in disputes involving international investors, financial institutions, and multinational corporations.

A separate area of his practice is corporate and commercial dispute resolution and business protection, within which he represents clients in courts of all instances.

He has extensive experience advising investors and companies on projects in energy, infrastructure and public-private partnership projects, including investment structuring, concession and infrastructure project support, as well as cross-border investments in strategic sectors of the economy.

Mikhail also advises clients on sports law matters, including representation in disputes and sports arbitration proceedings, contractual relations in professional sports, corporate aspects of sports clubs and federations, and support of investment projects in the sports industry.

His clients include leading Ukrainian and international companies, investors, business owners and top management, whom he advises on the organization and conduct of business in Ukraine, as well as on other matters of Ukrainian and international law.
