Mr. Khalid Taher Alkhateeb is a Founding Partner at Taher Group Law Firm, with over three decades of experience in commercial law, corporate governance, and dispute resolution.

He is admitted before all Kuwaiti courts, including the Court of Cassation and the Constitutional Court, and is recognised for advising on complex commercial and investment matters across key sectors.

Mr. Alkhateeb leads the firm’s commercial and foreign investment practice, with extensive experience in structuring high-value agreements, managing sophisticated litigation, and representing clients in arbitration proceedings. His work spans strategic transactions, regulatory advisory, and high-stakes disputes.

He has acted in significant and sensitive cases before all levels of the Kuwaiti judiciary, reinforcing his reputation as a trusted advisor in complex legal environments.

Mr. Khalid Taher Alkhateeb has been a member of the Kuwaiti Lawyers Association since 1985, following his admission to the Permanent Bar after obtaining his LL.B. from Kuwait University.

Throughout his career, he has held several key institutional roles within the Association, including serving as a Member of the Board of Directors and later as Vice Chairman between 1997 and 2000. He has also been an active member of the Disciplinary Committee and the Arbitration Center since the early stages of his career, reflecting his longstanding involvement in shaping professional standards within the legal community.

Mr. Alkhateeb has been registered as an arbitrator with the Association since 2005, further reinforcing his role in dispute resolution and arbitration.

He has been involved in several high-profile and sensitive matters, including cases related to state security, demonstrating a high level of trust and professional responsibility in handling complex legal mandates.
