She began her professional career in Copenhagen, Denmark, at the shipping company J. Lauritzen A/S, in the liquefied gas transport department, eventually becoming Director of Operations for a fleet of more than 20 gas carriers.

Upon returning to Spain, she served as Claims Director at the Dutch insurance company Transport Management Europe BV (General Electric Group), managing liability insurance policies for transport and port operators.

For over 15 years, she has practiced law, specializing in Shipbuilding and Ship Financing. Tax Lease; Maritime and Transport Law; and International Corporate and Contract Law.

She is a member of the Bizkaia Bar Association. Additionally, she serves as Secretary of the Board of Directors of the International Propeller Club, is a member of the Basque Maritime Forum, and acts as an arbitrator and mediator for the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce.

She holds a bachelor's degree in Law and Economics from the University of Deusto. She also holds a master's degree in Corporate Legal Consulting.
