Career

An economist, attorney, and expert on money laundering in the European Union. Her work focuses on the preventive aspects of criminal law, as well as on representing clients as both defense counsel and private prosecutors in numerous criminal cases before the National High Court and other courts.

She began her professional career at El Corte Inglés, where she worked for 16 years. In 2012, she launched her career as a lawyer by founding VDT Abogados, with the goal of practicing in court and building a client portfolio. In 2022, she joined Andersen, and in 2024, she joined Auren.

She has taught at Rey Juan Carlos University, the European University of Madrid, the School of Industrial Organization, and the School of Legal Studies, where she serves on the Academic Council.

She has published two books: “Law 10/2010, of April 28, on the Prevention of Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing” and “Money Laundering, Mandatory Administrative Compliance, and Criminal Offenses in Spanish Law.”

Education

Bachelor's degree in Law and Economics.
