Head of Practice

Maria Barbosa has 20 years of professional experience and heads the Labour practice area. She provides specialized advice to Portuguese and international clients operating in various sectors of activity. She also has experience in restructuring operations, namely downsizing procedures, transfer of undertaking or establishments (e.g., takeovers, mergers, spin-offs), and in salary restructuring procedures and implementation of benefit’s schemes. In recent years, her activity has been distinguished in the conduct of disciplinary proceedings, in the resolution of disputes out-of-court and in assisting the Clients at several legal actions of high technical complexity.
