Position

After gaining experience within both administrative and judicial courts (Tribunal de grande instance, Administrative Court, Conseil d’État), Alexandre Riquier was admitted to the Bar in 2011 and subsequently practiced in several law firms specializing in public law.

A partner at Lexcase since January 2026, he advises and assists both public and private clients on all aspects of public law, in both advisory and litigation matters, particularly in relation to public entities law, public service law and public contracts. His operational and close-to-client approach, based on a thorough and cross-disciplinary understanding of how public bodies operate and the constraints they face, is aimed at ensuring legal certainty and providing strategic support to public, semi-public and private decision-makers.

Alongside his practice, his career has been marked by a strong and continuous commitment to higher education and professional training, with the aim of maintaining, strengthening and sharing his expertise. After teaching public law in several institutions, he now teaches at the Master’s level (Master II) at Paris II Panthéon-Assas University, where he is also a member of the program advisory board and the examination board. He also regularly delivers professional training for clients and for well-known organizations such as La Gazette des Communes, Le Moniteur and Achatpublic.com.

Alexandre Riquier is also the author of several books on local government law, public service law and public procurement law, as well as numerous legal publications.
