Partner

Péter Berethalmi is a partner in the Corporate and M&A group at Lakatos, Köves and Partners. He joined the firm in 2024 after serving as Office Managing Partner at a leading independent Hungarian law firm. Péter has extensive experience in corporate law, M&A, employment, real estate, construction, and regulatory matters.

He regularly advises domestic and international clients on cross-border transactions and day-to-day legal operations. Péter holds a law degree from József Attila University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Laws from the University of London. He is fluent in Hungarian and English and serves on the Supervisory Board of the Association of the Hungarian Automotive Industry (MAGE).
