Position

Peter has specialised in film and television copyright, production and finance for over 30 years.

He represents Hollywood studios on rights matters and is responsible for the production legal advice on major US films shot in the UK and Europe. He also acts for an extensive list of UK and European independent producers and directors.

Some of his notable work highlights include Wicked (Universal Pictures), Back to Black (Focus Features), and Three Bags Full (Working Title Pictures).

Peter is the legal advisor to Film London and regularly advises industry bodies.

Career

Peter holds non-executive director posts at both the London Film School and the Sheffield International Documentary Festival.

Memberships

He a member of the Advisory Board of the British Film Commission, is a former Governor for London Film School, and recently a Board Director of the Sheffield International Documentary Festival. He has served as the chair of the Intellectual Property and Entertainment Law Committee of the International Bar Association. He is also a member of BAFTA.
