Senior Associate

Arthur Dedels is a dispute resolution lawyer with seven years of post-qualification experience, specialising in cross-border disputes, including arbitration and proceedings before the DIFC and ADGM Courts.

Qualified as a solicitor in England, Arthur relocated to Dubai in 2020, where he now focuses on disputes relating to international trade, oil & gas, and shipping. His practice also includes matters involving OFAC sanctions.

Arthur holds an LLB, an LLM in Maritime and Commercial Law, and the Legal Practice Course (LPC), all completed in England with distinction and first-class honours.

Before moving to the UAE, Arthur trained and practised in London, where he advised on high-value and complex litigation and arbitration matters. He acted for corporations, banks, governments, and high-net-worth individuals, with disputes involving sums ranging from hundreds of millions to billions of US dollars.
