Evelien Huberts is a lawyer with both a legal and technical background. She obtained a bachelor's degree in Food Technology from Wageningen University & Research as well as a bachelor's degree in Law from Utrecht University. She then pursued a master's degree in Intellectual Property Law, Innovation, and Technology at Utrecht University, and a master's degree in Food Safety, specializing in Food Law and Regulatory Affairs, at Wageningen University & Research.

During her master's in Food Safety, Evelien completed a student internship at Hoogenraad & Haak, where she has been working ever since. She has a particular interest in intellectual property law, food law, advertising law, and contract law. Thanks to her combined expertise, she is able to connect legal analyses with technical knowledge of the food sector.

Outside of her work and studies, Evelien has competed at a top level in equestrian sports (dressage) for many years, a discipline she continues to practice with great passion and dedication.
