Position

Albert Dreese, of counsel and lawyer at BUREN, specialises in Dutch corporate law, especially matters relating to joint ventures, M&A and foreign investments. He acts mainly for non-Dutch clients. He has been involved in many M&A projects and investments through Dutch holding companies and has worked on acquisition finance projects and the finance of investments through Dutch holding companies. Albert also has a large legal opinion practice.

Career

Albert graduated from Leiden University and was admitted to the Dutch Bar in 1984. Before joining Buren in 2013, he practised law from 1997 to 2013 as a partner at Houthoff Buruma and worked from 1984 to 1996 at Loyens Loeff. In 1990 Albert seconded as a visiting lawyer with the prominent Wall Street law firm Cleary Gottlieb. In 2002 he founded and was for three years the resident partner of Houthoff's London office.
