Ali Can Gören is a Partner who focuses on mergers and acquisitions, real  estate development and construction, leasing, and hospitality.

Ali has experience in mergers and acquisitions, primarily in manufacturing, real estate, infrastructure, retail, and technology sectors. He specializes in advising local conglomerates and foreign investors in their strategic investments, whether through transactions involving mergers and acquisitions or through greenfield or brownfield projects. In addition to his broad competency in corporate law matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, he is also proficient in real estate title and zoning matters, construction agreements (including FIDIC contracts), lease contracts, and hospitality agreements (hotel management and franchise agreements).

His clients include owners, developers, and investors of, as well as other actors in connection with commercial real estate such as business complexes, shopping centres, hotels, manufacturing facilities and vacant land. He is also active in the commercial and retail leasing and hospitality sectors.

Ali is a key lecturer and program coordinator for Bilgi University’s “Finance for Lawyers” certificate program, in which he gives lectures covering a wide variety of topics relating to mergers and acquisitions, such as fundamentals of business valuation, key corporate finance concepts, and purchase price mechanics. He also occasionally visits Bilgi University as a guest lecturer for master’s degree level courses relating to mergers and acquisition.
