Ms. Rousaki has extensive experience acting as counsel in international arbitral proceedings, both institutional and ad hoc, arising from complex commercial relationships across a broad range of industries, including energy, defence, and retail. She regularly handles disputes spanning multiple jurisdictions, coordinating across divergent substantive legal frameworks.
A defining feature of her practice is her expertise at the interface between international arbitration and national court proceedings. She regularly represents clients in proceedings concerning the setting aside, recognition, and enforcement of arbitral awards, as well as in matters involving parallel proceedings.
Alongside her arbitration practice, Ms Rousaki has developed a substantial commercial litigation practice before the Greek civil courts at every level of jurisdiction, including the Supreme Court. She represents both domestic and international clients in high-value commercial disputes, with particular experience in matters involving competition law and complex issues of private international law.
In addition to her disputes practice, Ms Rousaki regularly advises domestic and international clients on a broad range of commercial and regulatory matters, with particular experience in the technology, life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors.
Ms Rousaki is a regular contributor to legal journals and publications on international arbitration, with a particular focus on developments in arbitral procedure and the interaction between arbitral and judicial proceedings.
