As head of the firmโs Risk Management and Corporate Crime Investigations practices in Estonia, Norman Aas has helped many clients to get out of trouble, and has been involved in dealing with hundreds of major economic and corruption crimes during his legal career.

As Prosecutor General from 2005 to 2014, he was responsible for prosecuting the most significant and high-profile crimes in Estonia, including cases of political corruption.

As Secretary General of the Ministry of Justice in 2014-2017, Norman was responsible for coordinating national legal policy and know the policy making and rulemaking processes in detail. Among other things, he was responsible for coordinating and implementing our anti-corruption policies and strategies at national level.
๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ฏ๐น๐ฒ๐บ ๐๐ผ๐น๐๐ฒ๐ฟ. Norman has helped several large international companies conduct internal investigations, identify crimes involving dishonest management, and helps restore normal business in the company. He has cooperated effectively with law enforcement agencies to protect the rights of companies that has suffered fraud and corruption, and has helped implement anti-corruption strategies for companies and public authorities, including large hospitals and municipalities.
๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐บ๐ถ๐ฐ ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ฒ๐ฟ. Norman Aas is a lecturer on criminal law and criminal proceedings at Tallinn University and co-author of commentaries on several laws. He is a member of the supervisory board of the foundation which issues the most important Estonian legal magazine: Juridica.

In 2003 Norman was voted Prosecutor of the Year and has been awarded Medals of Merit from the Central Criminal Police, the Tax and Customs Board, the Internal Security Service, the Estonian Forensic Science Institute and the Police and Border Guard Board. In 2014 the Minster of the Interior presented him with an engraved Walther P99 pistol.
