Mario Sõrm never knew who he really wanted to be, but this should not be considered as a handicap. This has led him to try out different things, looking for varied experiences and striving to understand both sides of the equation. When practising as a lawyer, Mario has found this outlook in life to be very helpful, as perfect solutions require a grasp of problems in their entirety.

𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲. Mario has held a number of positions in the public sector and as a supervisory board member of state owned enterprises.

𝗗𝗿𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝘀. He had a hand in drafting the Estonian Competition Act as well as the Public Procurement Act, not to mention numerous other pieces of legislation.

𝗘𝗨 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀. Mario has also represented Estonia in a number of EU working groups and committees and given lectures and advice as a TAIEX expert on EU e-commerce law in three different continents.
