Career

Christian Molina is a Partner at ECIJA Dominican Republic, where he leads the firm’s Trusts practice and co-leads the Financial Services and Capital Markets practices.

He has extensive experience in investment structuring, project finance, public-private partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and wealth planning.

He currently serves as President of ECIJA LatAm, President of the Dominican Association of Trust Companies (ASOFIDOM), and member of the Board of Directors of the Dominican Development Foundation (FDD).

Throughout his career, he has advised local and international clients on complex financial, corporate, and real estate transactions, becoming one of the leading figures in fiduciary law and project structuring in the Dominican Republic.

Over the last twenty-four months, he has led the legal structuring of real estate projects exceeding US$1 billion in value, encompassing more than three million square meters of development and over thirteen thousand residential units.

Likewise, during the past year, he led the legal structuring of public offerings exceeding US$130 million in both the Dominican Republic and Jamaica, including the first foreign issuance secured by Dominican real estate assets through a local security agent.

His practice has been recognized by international legal directories such as Chambers and Partners, IFLR, and The Legal 500 in the areas of Real Estate, Banking & Finance, and Corporate law.

Christian graduated magna cum laude from Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) and holds an LL.M. in American Law, International Business Practice, and Fiduciary Law from Boston University School of Law, where he received the Outstanding Achievement Award distinction.
