Christian is a transactional lawyer specialized in financial, corporate and fiduciary law, with a practice focused on the structuring of investments, project finance and complex corporate transactions. He has extensive experience in trusts, capital markets, real estate, and corporate law, advising local and international clients in the implementation, protection and optimization of their investments in the Dominican Republic.

He has advised lenders and investors in sophisticated financial transactions, including due diligence processes, structuring of loan agreements and implementation of security packages. He also regularly advises on corporate acquisitions, public-private partnerships (PPP), capital markets transactions and complex business structures across sectors such as energy, real estate and financial services.

Christian has played a key role in the development of the fiduciary sector in the Dominican Republic, advising on the creation of trust companies and the structuring of complex real estate and investment trust vehicles. His experience also includes participation in dispute resolution matters related to financial and corporate transactions, including asset recovery and enforcement of guarantees.

He currently serves as Executive President of the Dominican Association of Trust Companies (ASOFIDOM), leading initiatives aimed at strengthening the fiduciary sector and promoting best practices. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Fundación Dominicana de Desarrollo (FDD), supporting initiatives related to financial inclusion and microfinance.

In the academic field, he has contributed as a lecturer in specialized programs on estate planning and corporate governance, including academic initiatives linked to Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Christian has been recognized by international legal directories such as Chambers and Partners, IFLR and Legal 500 as a leading individual in the Dominican Republic.
