Arístides Victoria Peláez is a Partner at ECIJA Dominican Republic, where he leads the Technology, Data Protection and Privacy practice. He has over nine years of experience advising local and international clients on regulatory compliance, digital contracting, cybersecurity and technology-driven business operations.

He joined ECIJA in 2018 as an Associate, advising on digital transformation projects, drafting and negotiating technology agreements, and supporting the implementation of data protection compliance programs for multinational companies. In 2026, he was promoted to Partner, assuming leadership of the firm’s Data and Privacy practice.

His experience includes advising clients in highly regulated sectors such as financial services, telecommunications and technology, conducting technology due diligence processes, and negotiating high-value commercial agreements. He also represents clients before regulatory authorities and in domestic and international commercial arbitration proceedings.

Arístides combines a strong academic background with practical experience in advising on complex technological and regulatory matters, maintaining a particular interest in the intersection between law, innovation and digital transformation.

He enjoys staying up to date with emerging technologies, participating in academic and professional forums, and activities related to innovation and digital trends.
