About

Jean-Rodolphe Fiechter is a multilingual (French/German/English/Italian) specialist construction and real estate lawyer with over 15 years’ experience in Switzerland and abroad (including Singapore and New York). He has a solid experience in cross-border construction and real estate advice and dispute resolution, acting as arbitrator or as mediator (RICS Accredited Mediator) and representing domestic and foreign clients (architects, engineers, developers, and facility managers) before Swiss courts, mediators, and arbitral tribunals (including FIDIC DAB and SIA 150). He has advised on a wide range of Swiss and international projects (incl. FIDIC), comprising pharmaceutical plants, hydropower plants, hotels and convention centers, airports and railway stations, industrial buildings, an opera house, and luxury chalets in the Swiss Alps. Jean-Rodolphe Fiechter is a lecturer at the Bern University of Applied Sciences and at the School of Engineering and Architecture of Fribourg, and a regular speaker on real estate and construction topics, and on legal aspects of Building Information Modeling (BIM).
