About

Prof. Dr. Daniel Staehelin is an experienced litigation lawyer specializing in banking law and, as a notary, advises companies and private individuals on contracts, restructuring, corporate acquisitions, real estate transactions, estate planning and the execution of wills. He is also a leading attorney and professor in the field of insolvency law. He has represented major creditors in all major insolvency proceedings of the last 25 years, has acted as trustee in bankruptcy proceedings, and has been appointed bankruptcy trustee in bank liquidations by FINMA on several occasions. In addition, he is regularly commissioned to prepare expert opinions.
