Karim is a dedicated Senior Legal Counsel and PhD researcher specializing in intellectual property law and economics at Al Alawi & Co., Advocates and Legal Consultants. He is passionate about advancing legal frameworks that support innovation and economic growth. With a strong academic foundation—having recently completed a Master’s degree in Economics and currently pursuing my PhD in the Knowledge Economy with a focus on IP law—I aim to bridge the gap between academic research and practical legal application.

Throughout his career, He developed a comprehensive understanding of various legal sectors, including Criminal, Commercial, Corporate, and Civil law, alongside deep expertise in intellectual property rights. His experience as Head of IP at the largest IP law firm in Oman has endowed me with valuable insights into the legal challenges and opportunities within the IP landscape.

Karim practice languages are Arabic and English.
