Adam combines international disputes experience with commercial pragmatism.
When disputes cross borders, jurisdictions and legal systems, clients need advisers who can see both the legal detail and the wider strategic picture. Adam specialises in exactly those matters. He advises businesses, investors and individuals on complex commercial disputes where the stakes are high and the issues are rarely straightforward.
Adam focuses on high-value commercial litigation and international arbitration, with particular expertise in disputes involving cross-border elements and the Middle East. His practice encompasses High Court litigation, shareholder disputes, fraud claims, competition matters, financial services disputes and international arbitration proceedings under leading institutional rules including ICC, LCIA, DIAC and CAS.
Clients value Adam's partner-led approach and his ability to manage complex matters efficiently. He is regularly instructed on claims where the sensitivity, scale or commercial significance of the dispute requires senior involvement from the outset. His work often involves coordinating cross-jurisdictional legal teams and advising clients on strategic decisions that extend beyond the courtroom.
Adam trained with Clifford Chance before practising in both London and Dubai. He subsequently held senior roles with Travers Smith and Pinsent Masons, developing extensive experience in complex commercial litigation and international arbitration. He spent around five years practising in Dubai and retains strong connections across the Middle East legal market.
Since joining Greenwoods as a Partner, Adam has played an important role in strengthening the firm's international disputes offering. His combination of technical expertise, international experience and commercial awareness enables clients to pursue and defend significant claims with confidence.
