Laurent Cotret joined August Debouzy in 2006. He advises French and foreign clients on difficulties with creditors, specifically banks, and on disputes between shareholders or disputes with contractors of a nature to destabilize the company. He has developed a strong practice in restructuring and renegotiating financial debt. Laurent also advises clients on their negotiations and possible disputes with financially distressed contractors. Laurent previously worked at Natixis as a corporate finance lawyer. He teaches at the master’s degrees program of the CNAM (National Conservatory of Arts and Crafts) and at the University of Champagne.
