Our law firm has had a competition law department from the very beginning. This is a small but very active,
core practice area of our law firm.
We do have vast experience in all areas of Hungarian and EU competition law. Our firm regularly assists
with merger control matters, as well as with vertical and horizontal restraints. We have also introduced
competition law compliance programs at large multinational and domestic core clients to enhance
competition law awareness. These programs were a huge success.
Our industry sector strengths include commodity and agri-traders, finance sector, logistics service providers,
building society, insurance companies, manufacturers and distributor companies.
Most of the clients that require the services of our competition law practice are our corporate clients.
Already having a long business relation with them, knowing their business model, their business practices
enable a better collaboration, a provision of personalised legal advisory services.
Nevertheless, our competition litigation practice is growing very rapidly, attracting new clients to our law
firm and cutting-edge cases.

The firm has notified various mergers and full-function joint ventures to the Hungarian Competition Authority and has represented clients in a number of investigations conducted by the Authority, including cartel investigations. The firm also provides regular advice to clients on all aspects of competition law, including distribution, licensing and averting anti-competitive practices
